UK based executive search firm Henderson Scott has been acquired by Glasgow based recruitment firm Search Consultancy.
Mishcon de Reya advised the CEO and other exiting shareholders of Henderson Scott on the sale of their shares to Search Consultancy. Head of Corporate and the Recruitment Services Group Nick Davis headed the team comprising of Associates Natasha Bassett and Matilda Barr and Consultant Bridget Wood.

Henderson Scott, with offices in Amersham, London, Reading and Singapore, specialises in technology recruitment across the public and private sector, a key-player within the fast-evolving tech landscape. Born out of this acquisition is the newly created Search Group, which will now comprise 750 people, across 17 UK offices, boasting revenue of £220 million and EBITDA of more than £10 million. Henderson Scott CEO, Mark Bailey, will remain as director of Henderson Scott and will also become a director of the Search Consultancy group, working with them to develop the Henderson Scott business under its existing brand.
