Deloitte is pleased to announce that it has been awarded platinum accreditation against the Investors in People Standard, demonstrating its commitment to high performance through good people management.
Deloitte Cyprus is among the nation's leading professional services firms, providing audit, tax, consulting and financial advisory services through over 670 people in Nicosia, Limassol and Larnaca.
The IIP Platinum accreditation is the highest accolade that can be achieved against the Investors in People Standard and is currently held by only 1% of IIP accredited organisations.
Investors in People is the international standard for people management, defining what it takes to lead, support and manage people effectively to achieve sustainable results. Underpinning the Standard is the Investors in People framework, reflecting the latest workplace trends, essential skills and effective structures required to outperform in any industry. Investors in People enables organisations to benchmark against the best in the business on an international scale.
Commenting on the award, George Pantelides, HR Partner at Deloitte, said: "It is a remarkable recognition of Deloitte's difference. It is a journey that started ten years ago, when Deloitte was the first organisation to be acknowledged for its leading practices in the area of human resource management and development. This journey continues and the specific milestone proves Deloitte's leading role in the specific area. We are proud of our people, their achievements and we are committed to continue investing in targeted HR initiatives that aim to support our firm's purpose and our people's aspirations."
Paul Devoy, Head of Investors in People, said: "We'd like to congratulate Deloitte, Investors in People accreditation is the sign of a great employer, an outperforming place to work and a clear commitment to success. Deloitte should be extremely proud of their achievement."
The IIP Assessor commented on our success: "A huge congratulation on achieving IIP Platinum status. This accreditation is an accolade to the total belief the organisation and the wider team has in Investors in People as a people management framework; the strength of the leadership that starts with the CEO and cascades down to people at Assistant level; the support of the policies and procedures in ensuring consistency of practices; and last, but definitely not least, to the pride and belief of people that Deloitte is a great place to work."
