Private Client Services Partner Marc M. Stern was featured in The Tennessean, where he shared his insights on estate planning considerations surrounding Dolly Parton's legacy following her recent death. Marc pointed to Parton's charitable foundation, The Dollywood Foundation, as a telling sign of how the country icon likely approached her own planning.

Excerpts:

"I don't see that she would have set up a foundation without also having set up a formal estate plan," he said.

Stern said he would not be surprised if Parton's estate benefited both family members and charitable causes.
