We are pleased to welcome Corinne Grigoriu as a Partner in the Firm’s National Tax Group, based in our Calgary office. Corinne’s arrival continues the exceptional growth and momentum for our national tax planning practice, and reinforces our position as Canadian market leaders in tax law.
Highly regarded for her broad and deep expertise, Corinne advises clients on the tax aspects of complex domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, inbound and outbound investment and financing, and corporate reorganizations and restructurings. She has deep experience in providing counsel to clients in oil & gas, mining, renewable energy and technology. She has particular expertise working with Indigenous groups on the development, implementation and financing of Indigenous partnerships and structuring Indigenous economic development activities and governance, and works with industries to facilitate Indigenous equity and economic participation in the energy sector.
A passionate voice in legal and business communities, Corinne is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation, the International Fiscal Association, and the Canadian Petroleum Society. She is also a frequent presenter and author on tax law, appearing at industry seminars and authoring a chapter in The Law of Indigenous Ownership and Projects, a resource focused on legal considerations for Indigenous-owned projects.
