PLMJ advised PMH — a Portuguese company specialising in the development and manufacture of medical devices — on an investment by ActiveCap's ActiveCap II fund, which took the form of an equity stake in PMH.
This capital increase will support PMH's international expansion. PMH currently exports 70% of its production and has a strong presence in European markets such as France, Belgium, Germany and Spain.
PMH was advised by PLMJ on legal matters and by Harbor Partners on financial matters. At PLMJ, Filipe Avides Moreira (partner, Corporate M&A) led the transaction, and he was assisted by Ana Nunes Teixeira, a senior associate, and Tiago Belinha, an associate, both from the same practice.
