Michael Regan, Partner at Meister Seelig & Fein, has been nominated to serve on the Board of Directors of the New York City Bar Association as part of the City Bar Nominating Committee’s 2026 slate.
Mr. Regan is a commercial litigator with extensive experience in
complex real estate and business disputes. He previously served as
Chair of the City Bar’s State Courts Committee (two-year
term) and Council on Judicial Administration (three-year term),
succeeding the Honorable Carolyn Demarest (Ret.) as Chair of
CJA.
Mr. Regan is Co-Chair of a City Bar working group tasked with
examining the nomination process for the New York Court of Appeals
and serves as a City Bar representative on the New York State Bar
Association House of Delegates.
The City Bar announced its full slate on January 8, 2026. Matthew Diller has been nominated as President of the New York City Bar Association and, if elected at the City Bar’s annual meeting on May 19, 2026, will succeed current President Muhammad U. Faridi.
Nominated to serve one-year terms as Vice Presidents are Patrick T. Campbell (Baker & Hostetler LLP), Paula T. Edgar (PGE Consulting Group LLC), and Hon. Andrea Masley (New York State Supreme Court). Ana Alfonso (O’Melveny & Myers LLP) was nominated to continue serving as Treasurer, and Michael A. Fernández (Cozen O’Connor) was nominated to serve as Secretary.
Additional nominees for the City Bar’s Board of Directors are Danielle C. Lesser (Morrison Cohen LLP), Glenn Metsch-Ampel (Lawyers For Children), Tracey Salmon-Smith (Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP), Jessenia Vazcones-Yagual (Sompo International), Kaylin Whittingham (Whittingham Law), and Christopher Wilds (Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP).
