The Hong Kong office of Harney Westwood & Riegels is pleased to announce the arrival of Michael Gagie, a partner from the BVI office. Michael is regularly cited in the global legal directories as one of the leading corporate lawyers in the BVI. He takes over from Ray Wearmouth as head of the Hong Kong office, with Wearmouth returning to the British Virgin Islands to lead the firm's BVI Banking & Finance and Corporate & Commercial teams.

Harneys' Hong Kong office is also pleased to announce the appointment of Leon Mao as a consultant. Mao has joined Harneys from the Hong Kong office of one of the other offshore law firms and brings with him over 10 years of experience in the Hong Kong offshore legal market. These appointments bring the number of Hong Kong foreign registered lawyers at the firm to five.
