Denise Smith Motta (Of Counsel-Louisville, KY) has been appointed to a two-year term as chair of DRI's Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee. The Committee addresses issues of interest to ADR professionals, attorneys, and their clients, and explores the practical implications of using arbitration, mediation, and negotiation as cost-effective and time-saving alternatives to litigation. Denise is a mediator and arbitrator, and a Panel Member with the American Arbitration Association (AAA), Construction and Commercial. In addition to construction and commercial cases, Denise’s extensive litigation of personal injury, product liability, and other disputes provides parties with the benefit of more than 25 years of experience assisting with alternative dispute resolution options.
