Jennifer Post, managing partner of Thompson Coburn’s Los Angeles office, has been recognized as a 2025 Dealmaker of the Year finalist in the Los Angeles Business Journal’s inaugural M&A Awards.
This prestigious program honors both the most impactful mergers and acquisitions of the year and the professionals behind them—attorneys, lenders, investment bankers, private equity leaders, and due diligence experts—whose work drives successful dealmaking across industries.
Jennifer serves as co-chair of the firm’s Emerging Companies group and advises clients nationwide on a broad range of financial transactions, including corporate, commercial finance, and securities matters. She regularly represents investors, lenders, and emerging companies in venture capital financings, M&A, venture lending, and fund formation. Her practice is particularly distinguished in the venture debt space, where she counsels direct lenders and venture debt funds in secured transactions across sectors such as technology, fintech, life sciences, SaaS, and consumer brands. Jennifer’s work spans key markets including Los Angeles, Silicon Valley, and New York.
She will be honored at the M&A Awards ceremony on September 11 in Los Angeles.
