Lowenstein Sandler represented clearing broker and API Alpaca in its acquisition of WealthKernel, a wealthtech firm that specializes in digital investment infrastructure and tax-advantaged products. The acquisition supports Alpaca's global expansion by integrating WealthKernel's UK and EU licensed brokerage infrastructure into Alpaca's platform.
Alpaca will also leverage WealthKernel's wealth management expertise in individual savings accounts, self-invested personal pensions, and other tax-advantaged accounts.
