Ashley (Wright) Felix (Associate-Orlando, FL) is a co-founder of the Black Women Lawyers Association of Central Florida, Inc. (BWLACF), and has been installed as the Inaugural President of the organization.

Ashley also serves on The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division Board of Governors, representing the Ninth Judicial Circuit. Her ongoing leadership at the state level underscores her commitment to advancing the legal profession and supporting the next generation of attorneys.

BWLACF is the first organization of its kind in Central Florida and only the fourth in the state dedicated to the advancement of Black women in the legal profession, representing attorneys and law students across seven counties – Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake, Brevard, Volusia, and Polk. The BWLACF was established to address the unique challenges faced by Black women in law, while fostering a supportive network focused on mentorship, advocacy, and professional development.

Under Ashley's leadership, the association is anchored in the guiding theme: "Lift As We Lead: Building the Village, Empowering the Legacy." This mission reflects the organization's commitment to community-building, collective leadership, and intergenerational empowerment.

On June 10, 2025, BWLACF held its Interest Meeting and Inaugural Installation Ceremony in Orlando, where Ashley and her Inaugural Board were formally sworn in by retired Florida Supreme Court Justice Peggy Quince. The event marked a significant milestone in the region's legal landscape and drew more than 100 attendees, including judges, elected officials, attorneys, law students, and bar candidates.

Wilson Elser is proud to celebrate Ashley's groundbreaking leadership and her dedication to shaping a more inclusive, empowered legal community in Florida
