ATLANTA, GA – Drew Eckl & Farnham is proud to announce the addition of five new attorneys—Rashad Johnson, M. Ann McElroy, Lexie Carmon, James Gates and Rashad Simon—as the firm continues its strategic growth across key practice areas.
These talented attorneys bring diverse perspectives and strong litigation experience to support the firm's mission of delivering exceptional legal services across Georgia and the Southeast.

New Attorney Bios:
- Rashad Johnson joins the firm's Atlanta office, focusing on workers' compensation. Rashad began his legal career at a mid-sized real estate law firm in Metro Atlanta, providing him with a broad perspective on legal matters. He earned his J.D. from University of Georgia, School of Law and holds a B.A. from the University of Georgia.
- M. Ann McElroy also joins the Atlanta office, where she concentrates her practice in defense of employers and workers' compensation. Prior to joining the firm, Ann practiced in workers' compensation defense for over 17 years. She received her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law and earned her B.S. from the University of Georgia.
- Lexie Carmon joins the Atlanta office, where she focuses on general liability and personal injury defense. Lexie brings hands-on courtroom experience and a commitment to client advocacy. She earned her J.D. from Emory University, School of Law and completed her undergraduate studies at the Hampton University.
- James Gates joins the Atlanta office, where he focuses on representing and defending Employer, Insurers, and Third-Party Administrators in Georgia Workers' Compensation claims. James has extensive experience in conducting and defending depositions and resolving claims through settlements either at mediation or by himself.
- Rashad Simon joins the Atlanta office, focusing on general liability. He earned his J.D. from Florida State University College of Law, where he was involved in the Gender and Family Justice Clinic and served on the Board of Directors for the Big Bend A.F.T.E.R. Re-entry Coalition. Rashad completed his undergraduate studies at University of Central Florida.
