SyCipLaw partnered with MujerLGBT+ Organisation, TrustLaw, the
Thomson Reuters Foundation, and the British Embassy Manila to
launch JUSTICE with PRIDE: LGBTQIA+ Community Legal
Guidebook.
This initiative reflects SyCipLaw’s commitment to providing
inclusive, equitable legal support for marginalized sectors. The
project team was led by Partner Ma. Patricia B. Paz-Jacoba, along
with Associates Faye Antoinnette L. Bengzon and Paolo L. Guzman,
with contributions from Associates Alexis Caesar E. Sanchez,
Carmille Addi Urzula B. Romero-Aratea, and Deniel R. Uezono.
“I’m proud of the Firm for standing by this work, and
of the lawyers who volunteered their time and expertise. As
protections are rolled back around the world, our team is grateful
for the chance to help in the way we know best,” said
Patricia.

across the Philippines. Formal handovers are being planned at the
Philippine Supreme Court and the Philippine Senate, and to the
Office of Congresswoman Geraldine Roman, the country’s first

national SOGIE Equality Bill.
