Bass, Berry & Sims attorney John Golwen has been elected a Fellow of the Tennessee Bar Foundation. This prestigious honor recognizes an attorney's exceptional contributions to the legal profession and the public good. The Tennessee Bar Foundation is a statewide, law-related, philanthropic organization dedicated to furthering the legal profession's integrity and highest ideals. Each year, only 30 lawyers from across the state are selected as Fellows, representing less than 5% of licensed attorneys in Tennessee.
The Bar Foundation makes a tangible difference in Tennessee. The organization administers the Interest On Lawyers' Trust Accounts or IOLTA program – an access to justice program that to date has granted over $30 million to organizations providing direct legal services to indigent Tennesseans working to improve the administration of justice, ensuring greater access to justice for all.
The Tennessee Bar Foundation recognized the Class of 2025 at the annual Fellows' Dinner on June 13. Visit the Tennessee Bar Foundation website for more details.
