The Canada Games Council recently announced the Class of 2025, which recognizes outstanding athletes, builders and alumni who have made significant contributions to Canadian sport and the Canada Games Movement. A two-time Canada Games athlete in tennis (1985, 1989), Jennifer has since distinguished herself as a globally respected leader in both sport and law. She will be inducted alongside fellow honourees Lennox Lewis, Diana Matheson, Sharon Firth, Shirley Firth and Ajay Patel.

Jennifer serves as Global Chair of the International Bar Association's Women Lawyers Committee and is recognized as a leading Canadian business lawyer by multiple legal ranking organizations including Best Lawyers in Canada, The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory and the Top 40 Lawyers Under 40. Jennifer has recently been recognized as one of Canada's Top 25 Women of Influence.

Jennifer's influence extends to her leadership roles with Tennis Canada, the International Tennis Federation and the Canadian Olympic movement as a member of the Governance and Ethics Committee. She also serves as Chair of the Board of the Doug Philpott Inner City Children's Tennis Foundation, a charity that delivers tennis programming and leadership opportunities to Canada's highest priority needs neighbourhoods. Jennifer champions gender equity as an ambassador for Tennis Canada's "Game. Set. Equity." initiative.

The Canada Games Hall of Honour induction ceremony will take place on August 8, 2025, in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, ahead of the official start of the 2025 Canada Games.

Please join us in congratulating Jennifer on this prestigious and well-deserved recognition.
