Young Moore is pleased to welcome Marianna Barrett and Timothy Greene to the firm's 2025 Summer Clerk Program. A third summer clerk, Andrew Medlin, will join in mid-June. The program offers law students meaningful exposure to the firm's day-to-day work across all practice areas while helping them develop the skills needed to thrive in the legal profession.
Marianna Barrett is a rising 3L at Tulane University Law School, where she serves as Vice President of the Public Interest Law Foundation and is a Junior Member of the Journal of Technology & Intellectual Property. Marianna is also active in Tulane Women in Law and the Business Law Society. This summer, she brings valuable experience from her recent clerkship with the 22nd Judicial District Public Defender's Office in Louisiana, where she conducted legal research, drafted motions, and observed courtroom proceedings. Prior to law school, Marianna served with City Year AmeriCorps, providing academic support to students in New Orleans. She holds dual B.A. degrees in Political Science and Psychology from Duke University. Outside of her academic and legal pursuits, Marianna enjoys hiking and mountain biking.
Timothy Greene is a rising 2L at the University of North Carolina School of Law. He graduated with distinction from UNC Asheville with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Legal Studies. While there, he received the Keith and Kevin Davis Award for Outstanding Research for his work critiquing traditional economic models and proposing frameworks that integrate moral considerations. He later presented his research to a panel of economists at Hope College. Most recently, Timothy worked as a Financial Services Representative at the NC State Employees Credit Union, where he honed his analytical and problem-solving skills while assisting members with financial matters. He is also certified in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program and enjoys cycling, motorsports, and hiking.
