Financial Markets Litigation and Enforcement Partner Matthew Kluchenek advised Bitnomial Exchange, LLC on the myriad and complex regulatory issues pertaining to its self-certification of the first perpetual futures contracts ever listed on a US exchange. Bitnomial Exchange is a Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) regulated designated contract market (DCM).
Trading was first made available to institutional participants on April 28, with retail access soon to follow. This launch positions Bitnomial as the only US exchange company offering physically delivered, non-synthetic exposure to crypto futures, options and perpetuals.
