New York – May 1, 2025 – National law firm Wilson Elser today announced the recipient of its 2025–2026 academic year Thomas W. Wilson Sr. Scholarship, named for the firm’s Chair Emeritus, a founding member of the firm.

This year’s scholarship recipient is Anna McMillen, daughter of Adam McMillen, Of Counsel in the firm’s Las Vegas office.

The scholarship consists of $10,000 per year for up to four years or upon graduation, whichever occurs first, at an accredited college or university.

“We are pleased to announce the firm’s scholarship in honor of Thomas W. Wilson Sr. for the 2025–2026 school year,” said Wilson Elser Chair Dan McMahon. “Anna is a terrific student. We are glad to help support her college career and have no doubt she will achieve continued success. I congratulate Adam, Anna, and their family.”

A top student at McMillen Academy in Sparks, Nevada, Anna has won her school’s Starting Small Entrepreneur Award, Stitch by Stitch McMillen Academy Award, and the Brighter Future Leadership Award. She has served as President of the McMillen Academy Piano Club, President of the Cooking Club, President of the Crochet Away Club, and President of McMillen Academy Gardening Club. She also was a member of the ski team, motocross and high school orchestra.

Anna has distinguished herself as someone who contributes in meaningful ways to her school and the broader community, thus personifying the criteria for the Thomas W. Wilson Sr. Scholarship, and many of the qualities of its namesake.

Anna has undertaken these and other activities while maintaining a 4.02 GPA and taking 12 honors classes. She will attend the University of Hawaii at Manoa next fall where she plans to study Finance.
