The London Technology and Private Investment Funds teams advised on the successful launch of Volution's new $100 million fund, aimed at backing high-growth FinTech, AI, and SaaS businesses addressing productivity challenges in capital markets and enterprise.
The fund, launched in partnership with leading Japanese venture capital investors SBI Investment Co., Ltd., through a Co-GP arrangement, leverages the strengths of both managers. This is Volution's second dedicated fund with a significant number of existing LPs from the first fund recommitting to the new fund.
Volution has a strong history of supporting high-growth companies such as Signal AI, Flagstone, and Cognism. Its first fund achieved 300% average revenue growth, delivering three exits, and includes one unicorn, Zopa Bank. The new fund has already begun deployment, with initial investments in one FinTech and one AI business.
The Goodwin team was led by Ajay Pathak, Ben Yeoh, Andrew Harrow, David Irvine, Michael Grainger and Thomas Howard.
