Kansas City (February 20, 2025) — Waste360 has selected Lathrop GPM Partner Ally Cunningham to its 2025 list of 40 Under 40 Award Winners. The waste management industry publication's 40 Under 40 awards recognizes innovative leaders under 40 years of age who have made significant contributions through excellence in waste, recycling, food waste and organics. The winners are involved across every facet of the industry, including haulers, municipalities, composters, recycling professionals, policymakers and product suppliers.
Cunningham manages a national practice with a focus on the areas of environmental, toxic tort and other crisis-related litigation. She regularly advises clients on compliance and permitting under federal and state environmental laws and regulations. Cunningham serves as an author for the firm's PFAS blog, "PFAS Playbook."
Cunningham's environmental work earned her a spot on Missouri Lawyers Media's Top 100 Power List from 2022-2024. She was also named to their Power List for Environmental Attorneys for the past two years. Cunningham was selected among The Best Lawyers in America® "Ones to Watch" in 2021-2022.
