OVERVIEW
On 15 January 2025, Quadrant was pleased to attend an event organised by the City of London and the Standing International Forum of Commercial Courts (SIFoCC), which recognised the contribution to the Rule of Law that is made by the UK's Commercial and International Legal Sector.
The event also marked the launch of a report produced by Maya Chilaeva
of Quadrant Chambers in collaboration with the SIFoCC Secretariat.
The report captures the valuable and wide-ranging discussions that
took place at the 5th Full Meeting of the SIFoCC, held in Doha in
April 2024.
The meeting, which brought together representatives from over 50
member jurisdictions, explored key topics including:
- The role of AI in the legal sector
- Developing the relationship between Commercial Courts, Arbitration and Mediation
- Transnational Cooperation
- Litigation Funding
- Corporate Activity and the Rule of Law
