LSEG Deals Intelligence has published its mid-market M&A legal advisory league tables for the third quarter of 20241. When measured by volume of mid-market2 transactions, Gowling WLG has once again posted high deal numbers for Canada, the UK, Europe and globally, continuing its strong performance of the last several years.
Although the global number of mid-market transactions was down by eight per cent when compared to Q3 2023, Gowling WLG's rankings in key markets strengthened against its competitors.
The firm was credited with 73 Canadian mid-market deals and rose to a #2 ranking on the Canadian league tables, up from #3 in Q3 2023. The UK was credited with 28 deals for a #17 ranking in the UK league tables.
