Aarij Wasti, a partner in Gowling WLG's Entertainment & Sports Law Group, recently shared his perspectives on the future impact of generative AI in sports law during a three-part interview series with Thomson Reuters MENA at the Arab Lawyers Forum in Doha, Qatar.
"It will shift what lawyers do and what their function is, whether it's on the private advisory side or whether it's in-house," Aarij said of the wide-ranging influence genAI will have in the legal landscape. "It should, in theory, help organizations, including sports organizations, ensure compliance in adherence with local regulations."
