Tommy Tuohy has been promoted to partner in Ogier's Banking and Finance team in the Cayman Islands.
A graduate of Ogier's partner development programme, Tommy advises on a wide range of banking and finance matters and has considerable experience acting for financial institutions, sponsors, and major corporates. As part of Ogier's multi-disciplinary Private Equity team, he has particular experience acting for private equity firms in corporate debt and leveraged finance transactions.
Tommy advises on all types of fund finance matters including subscription and capital call financings, NAV facilities and hybrid facilities. He is also experienced in asset finance matters and regularly advises on aviation and shipping finance transactions including secured lendings in respect of Cayman registered private yachts.
Client feedback included in the Legal 500 Caribbean Guide describes Tommy as "an excellent professional with great knowledge of corporate issues and outstanding creativity to solve matters related to corporate groups."

Before joining Ogier in the Cayman Islands seven years ago, Tommy gained considerable international experience working for an award-winning Australian firm in Sydney and a leading Irish firm in Dublin.
