Dirk Besse recently spoke to The Lawyer about Morrison Foerster's 10-year anniversary in Berlin as part of a feature in The Lawyer's "The Passport" newsletter. The article noted:
"This year marks the 10-year anniversary of MoFo launching its office. Co-managing partner and M&A lawyer Dirk Besse joined to kickstart the office and today leads it alongside regulatory partner Andreas Grünwald."
"The growth agenda at MoFo is one that Besse is focusing on fiercely. The office opened in 2013 with a total headcount of 24 and today stands at 45. Though not a strict target, Besse believes the office has the potential to double again. That logic would place the office at around 90 staff, which Besse says would place it among the largest law firms present in the German capital."
