Environmental Group Co-Chair Steven T. Senior is a speaker at "Natural Resource Damage (NRD) Claims in NJ: The Role of Attorney, NJDEP and LSRP," a live webinar being offered on June 20, 2023 from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Steve is joining two environmental professionals from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and a Licensed Site Remediation Professional to discuss the regulatory process, including the NJDEP's voluntary approach to NRD vs. litigation. The panelists will also review case law and the application of tools and techniques for conducting natural resource damage assessments, as well as the role of the attorney and LSRP and the negotiation process with NJDEP legal representatives.
The morning will include presentations by NJDEP of specific case studies and best approaches for successful voluntary settlements.
The course is presented by Continuing Professional Education Services, and offers 3.5 Regulatory CECs for NJ LSRPs. Credit is pending for CLE, PE, and Health Officers and Registered Environmental Health Specialists.
