Georgia Smeu
Georgia Smeu joins the firm's Tax Group. She is proficient in preparing tax returns for individuals, researching and providing tax solutions for the firm's clients and reviewing incoming cash flow. She also has experience working with various tax agencies, including states, municipalities and the Internal Revenue Service. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Aurora University.
Taylor Sterling
Taylor Sterling joins ORBA's Tax Group as a Tax Senior. She works with clients to prepare consolidated, multi-state and corporate tax returns for corporations, partnerships and S-corporations. She is also experienced in foreign tax filings and preparing response letters of evidentiary support for IRS and state tax notices. She holds a Masters of Science in Accountancy from Walsh College.
Jillian Heston
Jillian Heston joins the firm's Audit Group as a Senior Associate. She is well-versed in performing a variety of audits and reviews for not-for-profit organizations, health and fitness clubs and manufacturers and distributors. She also has extensive knowledge of Department of Labor, Internal Revenue Service and ERISA regulations, as well as various other aspects of 401(k) plans. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Kean University.
Florencio Vera
Florencio Vera joins ORBA's Cloud CFO Services Group as a Senior Associate. He is experienced in evaluating current systems and implementing new ones, as well as updating processes that aim to heighten productivity. Florencio also specializes in preparing month-end journal entries, financial audit reports and balance sheet accounts reconciliation. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Roosevelt University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northwestern College.
