Winston is pleased to announce that T. Reed Stephens and Heather Lamberg have been named Co-Chairs of the firm's Health Care & Life Sciences Industry Group.

With more than 150 practitioners, Winston's Health Care & Life Sciences Industry Group draws from the firm's integrated platform to provide nuanced and informed strategic counsel to enterprises of all magnitudes operating within the convergence of the health care and life sciences sectors.

Our transactional practitioners focus on M&A, private equity, portfolio company representations, SPACs, and finance. We assist our clients in identifying strategic opportunities as well as mitigating risks emerging in due diligence.

In the area of litigation, we routinely guide clients through complex merger challenges, fraud and abuse investigations of healthcare providers and medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers, and patent litigation, as well as antitrust litigation, labor and employment, breach of contract, and securities fraud claims.

In the regulatory space, our team's experience on behalf of healthcare providers, managed care companies, and companies engaged in the distribution stream of products regulated by the FDA covers licensure and certificates of need, policies for participation in the Medicare, Medicaid, and other government healthcare programs, compensation arrangements for products and services, fraud and abuse (the Anti-Kickback Statute and the Stark Law), compliance for providers and product manufacturers, U.S. and global data privacy laws (including data security and HIPAA), government and commercial third-party payer strategic issues, pharmaceutical government price reporting mandates, and antitrust issues, including antitrust review of M&A transactions.

We invite you to reach out to Reed and Heather with any questions or needs.
