Financial Markets and Regulation special counsel and chair Gary DeWaal will participate in the "Regulation of Digital Assets & Currency" panel discussion during the "Web3 & The Metaverse: Preparing Your Practice & Clients For The Newest Digital Revolution" program, beginning at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 16. The program will be presented by the NYSBA Task Force on Emerging Digital Finance and Currency, whose mission includes developing best practices for attorneys representing clients on digital finance and digital currency matters; studying and evaluating the legal issues and questions surrounding the expansion and regulation of the digital finance and digital currency industries in New York State; and promoting the appropriate use of digital assets and Web3 resources.
