LatinoJustice PRLDEF recognized Arnold & Porter with its 2022 "Pro Bono Publico" award at their annual awards gala on November 17, 2022. LatinoJustice is a non-profit organization that works to advance equity and justice for the Latinx community.
The "Pro Bono Publico" Award is given to firms LatinoJustice recognizes as true community partners and exemplify LatinoJustice's mission to "advance the Latino community through comprehensive pro bono service." Arnold & Porter was recognized for "its extraordinary and exemplary pro bono commitment and its work to protect the rights of Latinos throughout the country."
The LatinoJustice legal team commended Arnold & Porter's collaborative work on SB 90 in Florida, promoting equity in education and employment, in addition to other important initiatives.
Arnold & Porter's pro bono work has been widely recognized by the legal community. The firm recently was recognized in Bloomberg Law's " Pro Bono Innovators" list. The firm also was named a "Pro Bono Leader" by the DC Circuit Pro Bono Standing Committee, the American Immigration Council honored Arnold & Porter with its American Heritage Award for the firm's pro bono work advancing immigration rights, and the firm was recognized by Washington Council of Lawyers for its commitment to pro bono work with its 2021 Law Firm Award.
