The Financial Conduct Authority ("FCA") confirmed on Friday 24 May the notification window for funds wanting to avail of the Temporary Permissions Regime ("TPR") will be extended until 30 October 2019. Any fund managers, as a result of this extension, that wish to update their existing notification should email recognisedcis@fca.org.uk by the end of 16 October 2019.

Fund managers should note, while they can create new draft notifications on the FCA's Connect system to monitor their fund population, they will not be able to actually submit an updated notification until after 16 October 2019.

If you have any questions or concerns relating to this update and/or the temporary permissions regime, please do not hesitate to contact your usual Walkers contact.
