As the COVID-19 lockdown restrictions are removed in a phased manner and economic activities are allowed to commence based on the weekly classification of the districts as either "red", "orange" or "green" by the Government of India, it is critical for the stakeholders in the city gas distribution sector to be aware of the classification of the individual districts that comprise each authorised area and changes to the classification that occur as per GOI notifications.
Our Firm is keeping track of the classification of each district comprising all the authorised areas authorised to various CGD entities and has developed a table providing the status as of 2.05.2020 (which will be valid till the next classification released by Government of India) and updated regularly thereafter.
