The development of AI technology has contributed to the emergence of many AI inventions, and the special characteristics of AI inventions has challenged the patent systems in many countries. Although examination rules and protection standards for patents for new fields such as AI are not consistent worldwide, the overall situation is positive for the protection of such patents.
