Today Industry Canada announced that Canada’s anti-spam law ("CASL") will come into force on July 1, 2014.

Today Industry Canada announced that Canada's anti-spam law ("CASL") will come into force on July 1, 2014.  It also has released its final regulations.

Charities can breathe a sigh of relief, however, as there is an exemption where the primary purpose of a registered charity's commercial electronic message is to raise funds for the charity.
