Link Legal represented and advised Doncasters Group of Companies ("Doncasters") in relation to the Indian element of its acquisition of Uni-Pol Group of Companies ("Uni-Pol").
Doncasters is a leading international manufacturer of high-precision engineering components. It has production facilities across Europe and the US and has market-leading specialist capabilities. Uni-Pol is a global business specialising in the manufacture of super alloy cast parts and has four manufacturing facilities in China, India, Mexico and the UK.
Our scope included (i) conducting legal due diligence on Uni-Pol's Indian entity; (ii) drafting, negotiating and finalizing the transaction documents (for India leg); and (iii) legal assistance in closing of India leg of the transaction. We worked with Pinsent Masons (UK) for this transaction. Uni-Pol was advised by Osborne Clarke in the UK and BTG Legal (for India leg).
