Evan Harris spoke to CTFN about the U.S. Senate's confirmation of Alvaro Bedoya to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
With Bedoya's confirmation, Evan said FTC Chair Lina Khan now has the majority she needs to push forward the "more ambitious portions of her agenda."
"Many predict the FTC will use this majority to consider rulemakings that have a wide ranging impact on FTC enforcement, including merger enforcement, and to challenge more proposed mergers, possibly even on novel theories of harm," Evan added.
