Singapore – April 13, 2021 – Cooley advised Endowus, a digital wealth platform and adviser, on its SG$23 million Series A financing round, one of the largest amounts raised in Series A funding for a Singapore-based fintech firm and the company's first external fundraise. Partners Matthew Bartus and Ferish Patel led the Cooley team advising Endowus.

Lightspeed Venture Partners led the financing round, which also saw participation from SoftBank Ventures Asia. Endowus will use the new capital to expand in Asia, starting with Hong Kong. Additionally, the company is on track to hit SG$1 billion in assets under management by Q2 in Singapore.

"We're humbled but excited to have the confidence of Lightspeed and Softbank Ventures Asia ... in support of our mission to help Singaporeans invest better across all their wealth," Gregory Van, Endowus founding partner and chief executive, said in a statement. "The success we've seen in Singapore this past year proves that our solutions are meeting the needs of investors, with one in two clients acquired on our platform investing across multiple wealth streams. With the same rigour, we will expand our offerings to other key markets in the region, starting with Hong Kong."

Headquartered in Singapore, Endowus is the first and only digital adviser for capital premium financing, supplementary retirement scheme and cash savings, helping everyone invest holistically, conveniently and with expert advice at the lowest cost possible.
