Lawson Lundell is pleased to announce that Yellowknife partner Sandra MacKenzie has been elected to the Executive Committee of the Law Society of the Northwest Territories for a three year term.
Sandra is recognized as an accomplished practitioner by Chambers Canada. Sandra has a strong commitment to serving the legal profession. She has previously served as a member of the discipline committees of both the Law Society of the Northwest Territories and the Law Society of Nunavut.
The Law Society of the Northwest Territories Executive Committee is comprised of one non lawyer, appointed by the Commissioner for a term of three years. There are also at least four other Executive members that are elected by all the lawyers who practice in the NWT. Those who are elected are lawyers who have been approved to practice in, and live in the NWT.
