Nicholas Curmi, head of GANADO Advocates' capital markets practice, will be delivering a course on the Stock Exchange Listings on the 27th and 28th February at the Malta Stock Exchange. The event, organised by the Malta Stock Exchange Institute, is supported by GANADO Advocates.

The purpose of this course is to introduce basic capital markets concepts and terminology. It will provide an understanding of some of the fundamental considerations that a company needs to keep in mind when offering securities to the public for the first time, a general understanding of the listing process and the relevant Maltese and EU legal requirements that must be complied with, both prior to listing and on an ongoing basis.

This is an introductory level course and having basic corporate finance concepts would be useful but is not a requirement. The course is open to the general public, students, Maltese businesses and their directors, as well as lawyers, accountants and other advisors.
