Shearman & Sterling partners Donna Parisi and Jennifer Morton have been named to Innovate Finance's Women in FinTech Powerlist 2023 in the "Policymakers & Regulatory Experts" category.

Innovate Finance's Women in FinTech Powerlist celebrates the achievements and talents of women making significant contributions to the creation, development and operations of businesses operating in FinTech and Financial Services. The Powerlist is curated by Innovate Finance, an independent industry body that represents and advances the global FinTech community in the UK.

Donna is the firm's Global Head of Finance, Lead Relationship Coordinator for the Financial Institutions Industry sector, and leader of the firm's Family Office Initiative. She is also a member of the Firm's Executive Group and the affinity group, ShearmanWomen. Donna founded the firm's FinTech Foundry program, which supports the FinTech-related activities of our clients and the wider global FinTech ecosystem including financial institutions, FinTech startups, accelerators and incubators, venture capital and private equity investors, and policymakers. This is the sixth consecutive year that Donna has been named to the Women in FinTech Powerlist.

Jennifer is a partner in the firm's Financial Institutions Advisory & Financial Regulatory practice and leads the firm's broker-dealer regulatory practice. She is also Co-Chair of Shearman & Sterling's Fintech Foundry. In that role, Jennifer advises market participants, including financial institutions and FinTech startups on securities and broker-dealer regulatory matters relating to digital assets and blockchain technology.
