Superyacht Investor London 2023, which will be organised on the 14th and 15th of March, will bring together senior executives and other professionals from the yachting scene to discuss recent developments in the sector. The main themes discussed during this year's conference, which is supported by Ganado Advocates, will be ESG and sustainability, industry sanctions due to the war in Ukraine, yacht financing and crypto sales in the yachting industry.
On the first day of the conference, Mathew Attard, Partner within the firm's shipping and yachting practice, will participate in an open panel discussion revolving around the implications of the Russian invasion on the industry, The panel discussion will see participation of high-profile lawyers from different jurisdictions, active in the yachting scene, who will delve into the effects of sanctions imposed and seizures, the potential rise of the Eastern Mediterranean and the future for Russian yacht owners.
