On March 2, the Department of Defense ("DOD") announced that it would invite hackers to test
the department's cybersecurity. The pilot program is the first
in a series planned to find vulnerabilities in the department's
applications, websites, and networks. The pilot was announced as
part of an effort to comply with the Administration's Cyber
National Action Plan.
