LOS ANGELES (January 23, 2020) – Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie announced Thomas J. Daly and Robert A. Green have been named 2020 Southern California Super Lawyers® in the area of intellectual property.

Thomas Daly has more than 25 years of experience in intellectual property with a focus on patent and trademark litigation. As a partner and co-practice group leader of the firm's intellectual property group, he works with clients to implement strategies designed to obtain and protect trademarks and patents critical to their businesses. He also handles matters pertaining to licensing and patent portfolio management for medical devices, chemical processing and pharmaceutical companies, among others.

Daly has served in numerous leadership positions, including serving as former president of the Los Angeles Intellectual Property Law Association and former president of the Pasadena Bar Association. Currently, Daly serves as a board member of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce and is the immediate Past Chair for the Los Angeles Lawyer Magazine Editorial Board. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Loyola Law School and his B.S. from the University of Illinois.

Robert Green is a partner in the firm's Intellectual Property practice engaged in the procurement, licensing and enforcement of patent portfolios in a wide range of technological fields, including computer and information security, communications, magnetic storage media, medical imaging and photovoltaics. He regularly advises clients who are seeking to assess the risks of marketing new products and conducts in-depth studies to evaluate commercial products and processes from a patent standpoint.

Green has vast experience in licensing intellectual property rights, both inbound and outbound and works with high tech early-stage companies to establish the strength of their intellectual property assets and position them for acquisition or attracting significant investment. He builds and manages patent portfolios for a wide variety of clients, from those in the Fortune 200 to some of the country's most prestigious universities. Green received his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law and his B.S., magna cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles.
