Zee is a highly regarded private funds lawyer with nearly 30 years of experience advising sponsors across private equity, venture capital, and real assets. His arrival expands and strengthens Proskauer's private funds capabilities and bolsters the Firm's private capital platform, including its Private Equity Transactions, Fund Finance, and Real Assets practices.

Zee advises investment managers and sponsors on the formation and operation of private investment funds in the U.S. and internationally, across a variety of strategies including private equity, real estate, hedge, distressed, hybrid and Shari'ah-compliant funds. He represents managers, placement agents and sponsors on capital formation and provides counsel on the establishment of management companies and compensation arrangements. His practice also includes advising on U.S. regulatory matters, including issues involving investment advisers and investment companies.
