NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Stites & Harbison, PLLC welcomes attorney Jacob E. Moses to the firm's Nashville, Tenn., office. He joins the firm's Creditors' Rights & Bankruptcy Service Group.
Moses represents clients in commercial and civil litigation, including complex litigation involving business disputes, contract disputes, commercial finance matters and insurance coverage matters. His practice will also focus on business reorganizations, workouts, adversary proceedings, and matters arising out of Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code.
Prior to joining Stites & Harbison, Moses was an attorney at two different law firms in Nashville and Franklin, Tenn., where he gained diverse experience in complex commercial and civil litigation.
Moses earned his J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2023. During law school, he served as a judicial intern for Judge Suzanne H. Bauknight, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee and co-authored an article entitled "The Guitar Center Bankruptcy: Getting the Band Back Together," Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Case Studies (2022). He also earned his B.A. in Political Science, cum laude, from the University of Tennessee in 2020. Moses is admitted to practice in Tennessee.
