Butler Snow LLP is pleased to welcome attorney Timothy A. Roth to the firm's Nashville, TN, office. Roth joins as a member of Butler Snow's Regulatory and Government Relations group.

Timothy A. Roth
Roth is a member of Butler Snow's Regulatory and Government Relations group, where he counsels public, private, and nonprofit clients on complex environmental and regulatory matters, including regulatory compliance, enforcement defense, permitting strategy, due diligence, and regulatory policy. He has represented clients before various federal and state environmental agencies and in federal court.
He is admitted to practice in Colorado and the District of Columbia, with admission in Tennessee pending. Roth has also been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America® – Ones to Watch for Environmental Law, Natural Resources Law, and Energy Law, and by Colorado Super Lawyers® as a Rising Star. Roth earned his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center, where he served on the Georgetown Environmental Law Review and was recognized as an Exceptional Pro Bono Pledge Honoree for completing more than 250 hours of pro bono work. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois.
