Jason D. Navarino, Chair of the Firm's Tax and Corporate Groups, will moderate an upcoming New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE) panel on December 18, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
The half-day program, "Representing Nonprofits and Tax-Exempt Organizations," will cover key considerations in navigating the complex legal landscape governing nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations. Jason, alongside other experienced practitioners, will guide attendees through issues related to formation, compliance, and dissolution, explaining what "nonprofit" and "tax-exempt" really mean, how various organizational structures differ, and how to identify and address unrelated business income tax (UBIT) and other regulatory obligations.
