LOS ANGELES & NEW YORK, October 2, 2025 – Proskauer is pleased to announce that partners Sandra ("Sandy") Crawshaw-Sparks and Anthony ("Tony") Oncidi have been named to The Hollywood Reporter's 2025 list of Top Music Lawyers, which spotlights leading attorneys shaping the future of the music industry.
Sandy is a senior partner in Proskauer's Litigation Department and chair of the Firm's Entertainment, Copyright and Media Group. A well-known entertainment industry litigator with over 37 years of success, Sandy represents the most iconic names in music with recording, publishing, licensing and management contracts, copyright and trademark infringement, unfair competition claims, and the rights of privacy and publicity. Her achievements include major victories for recording artists, songwriters, record companies and music publishers in a variety of litigation and transactional matters. Notably, Sandy serves as the National Legal Counsel for the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences and has long served as an Advisor to the Executive Committee of the Academy's Board of Trustees, as well as on the Board of Directors of the GRAMMY Museum's Entertainment Law Initiative.
Tony is co-chair emeritus of Proskauer's Labor & Employment Department and head of the West Coast Labor & Employment Group. For decades, he has been the go-to employment lawyer in Los Angeles across a variety of industries, including A-list music and entertainment clients. Tony represents employers and management in all aspects of labor relations and employment law, consistently scoring victories and resolving cutting-edge issues confronting employers in and beyond California. His work in the industry includes serving as lead employment counsel for the Recording Academy, handling both counseling and litigation, as well as representing prominent names such as Sony Music/Columbia Records, RCA, the RIAA, Live Nation Entertainment, Inc., FOX and Creative Artists Agency.
