Our Halifax office is pleased to welcome six new associates to our Halifax office, all were called to the Nova Scotia Bar in June 2025.

Our Halifax office is pleased to welcome six new associates to our Halifax office, all were called to the Nova Scotia Bar in June 2025. These associates exemplify our commitment to client service and are ready to help with your legal challenges.

Atosa Asadi

Atosa is an associate in our Business Law Group, she is involved with mergers & acquisitions, real estate, financing, incorporations, contract review, corporate restructuring, and helping clients find strategies to grow their business. Atosa has a Bachelor of Science from Carleton University and obtained her her JD from the University of New Brunswick Faculty of Law.

Michael Cormier

Michael practices medical defence, commercial litigation, and insurance litigation. He completed a Bachelor of Arts at Mount Allison University before going on to complete his JD at Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law. Michael is bilingual in English and French and is pleased to assist clients in either language.

Alexander Eddy

Alexander is an associate practicing insurance defence, and commercial litigation. He completed a Bachelor of Arts at Dalhousie University and a Juris Doctor at University of New Brunswick. Before attending law school, Alex worked as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with a specialization in avionics.

Rose Klug

As a member of the Business Law Group, Rose advises clients on corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, financing, contract review, securities, and strategies to support business growth. She holds a degree in Environmental Sustainability from Acadia University and earned her law degree from Dalhousie University, where she served as President of the Dalhousie Law Wellness Society.

Matthew Kuzak

Matthew is a litigation Associate whose practice includes commercial litigation, estate litigation, medical defence, and insurance defence. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from Mount Allison University and a Master’s degree in History from Queen’s University. Matthew earned his law degree from the Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia, where he was recognized with the James Beatty Ramsay Scholarship and the M.F. Jefferson Smith Memorial Award.

Blair Miller

Blair is pleased to join the Halifax office, practicing in the areas of labour & employment, immigration, commercial litigation, and insurance law. He holds a Bachelor of Management, a JD degree and a Master of Business Administration from Dalhousie University.
