Cooper Grace Ward starts the new financial year with five lawyers promoted to senior positions, including one partner, two senior associates and two associates.

Cooper Grace Ward starts the new financial year with five lawyers promoted to senior positions, including one partner, two senior associates and two associates.

Melissa Mourilyan has been appointed as a partner within the banking and finance workgroup.

Jaimee-Lee Holstein (property, planning and environment) and Sophia Ousager (corporate advisory) have been promoted to senior associate, and Isabella Clements (workplace relations and safety) and Elyse Staunton (insurance) have been promoted to associate.

Melissa Mourilyan specialises in both commercial and retail lending and has an in-depth knowledge of settlement transactions across all eight Australian states and territories. Melissa began her legal career at CGW in 2002 and completed her law degree while working with the firm. Melissa's dedication has been instrumental to the success of CGW's banking and finance team over many years and she is highly regarded by clients in the industry.

Jaimee-Lee Holstein advises on acquisitions and disposals of commercial, rural, agricultural, industrial and residential properties, property development, leasing, technical property advice work and equine agreements.

Sophia Ousager provides legal advice and support to domestic and international clients on corporate and commercial issues, including transactional matters, corporate governance, structuring acquisitions, disposals, and lender and borrower finance.

Elyse Staunton delivers legal advice and claims management support in a range of workers' compensation and CTP matters, working alongside partners and senior lawyers in the firm's insurance workgroup.

Isabella Clements provides practical, commercial advice on all workplace relations and safety issues including employment disputes, such as underpayment and unfair dismissal, discrimination and adverse action matters and workers' compensation.
